php|architect is Looking for a Few Good Bloggers!

Posted by on November 10, 2009

Big changes are afoot at php|a headquarters! We don’t want to spoil the surprise for everyone, but for the moment let us just say that we’re looking for a few expert bloggers to help us create kick-ass content
for phparch.com.

As Pro Bloggers for phparch.com, you will be responsible for reporting important news, information, tricks, articles and posts that are going to help make php|a the best destination for PHP community members from all paths of life.

We are looking for bloggers who can work collaboratively and publish items as they become relevant, adding a unique perspective and flavour to the reporting that only their level of expertise can bring in one or more of these areas:

  • PHP (both the language and the surrounding platform)
  • PHP community
  • Database (all welcome)
  • Freelancing
  • Development frameworks (all welcome!)
  • Content management systems (Drupal, WordPress, etc.)
  • RIAs
  • Javascript/AJAX (including jQuery, Prototype, etc.)
  • HTML/CSS techniques (as they relate to developers)

You don’t need to be a published author to become a php|a blogger—just have a good understanding of the topics you want to cover, be able to express measured opinions based on your personal experience and the ability to write clear, engaging and grammatically correct text. The effort can be commensurate to your availability and as flexible as you need it to be.

Interested? Drop us an e-mail at bloggers@phparch.com and we’ll send you more information on what we expect from you, compensation, special programs available only to our pro bloggers, and all other relevant information.
