php|a now accessible from your iPad!
If you happen to have picked up a brand new iPad over the Easter weekend, you may be wondering just how well your copies of php|architect will display on it.
The answer is… just great! The iPad has a wonderful built-in PDF reader and the beautiful designs of that our layout team puts together every month shine on the device’s brilliant display.
Best of all, we are making some small tweaks to our interface that make it just a little bit easier to access the magazine directly from the iPad, without having to first download the copies to our computer. For example, you can now log on to your account and download your last six purchases directly in PDF format. Of course, the traditional ZIP format is still available if you want access to the code for a particular issue.
Similarly, all our books can be downloaded in PDF format directly from your account page through Safari.
If you are not among the 300,000 fans who snatched up an iPad… don’t worry—we’re working on an ePub version of the magazine that should work on most e-readers as well.
(And yes, this post was typed on an iPad.)

Glad to hear this! Another great reason for me to buy an ipad! Just have to wait a few more weeks to get mine in the UK.
