MySQL Community Server 5.1.45 announced
MySQL, the popular SQL database, has announced a new release of their Community Server edition. This is version 5.1.45.
This release includes:
- InnoDB plugin 1.0.6, which is of Release Candidate (RC) quality. The InnoDB plugin continues to mature to provide a high-performance, transactional storage engine for MySQL.
- More than two dozen bug fixes, including fixes in partitioning, replication, and optimizer systems. There don’t appear to be any security-related fixes in this release.
The previous release, MySQL Community Server 5.1.44, was announced 2010-02-18.
The MySQL 5.1 line has been GA since December 2008 and is currently the only line of MySQL under active support. The 5.0 line is under extended support, and the 5.4 line is still beta.
